The Jerrabomberra Wetlands sit between expanding
urban development and a fragile ecological system.
The proposal establishes an ecological observation
bridge that encourages site occupants to pause and
observe the surrounding flora and fauna.
Incorporating oculi that allow views to the treetops
for aerial observation and to the water for aquatic
and amphibian observation.
The form follows natural movement seen both in the
curves of the Molonglo River and the snakes that can
be seen on site.
